Cultivate Garden Shop, in partnership with the Continuing Education Program at Haywood Community College, will teach students how to select seeds for their taste, experience level, and local climate. We will cover various techniques both for starting seeds indoors and directly sowing in the ground. More advanced topics we’ll touch on are understanding hybrids vs. heirloom varieties, seed saving, and regenerative practices. The class will be hands-on and students will leave with their seed-starting kit
